BVLGARI Celebrated the Re-Opening of the 5th Avenue New York Flagship Store
Bulgari celebrated the reopening of its main boutique of the City of Neva York cocktail followed by a dinner for 200 people, including celebrities, VIP guests, models and LVMH executives. The evening began with a champagne toast to delight attendees with the new design of the boutique developed by the famous architect Peter Marino. While the guests enjoyed the space, the actress and DJ Ruby Rose offered a musical show while enjoying Ruinart Blanc de Blancs along with the hors d’oeuvres of Olivier Cheng.
After the cocktail, the guests were transferred to The Met Cloisters, the branch of the Metropolitan Museum of Art dedicated to the art and architecture of medieval Europe, where they enjoyed an intimate dinner organized by the CEO of BVLGARI, Jean-Christophe Babin , with an outdoor atmosphere and accompanied by two surprise performances: a Lil Buck dance performed in the second courtyard and an acoustic performance in the Museum’s Fuentidueña Chapel, offered by the multi-Platinum Global pop star Demi Lovato.
About the store: The new BVLGARI flagship store located on 5th Avenue in New York is based on a timeless but contemporary vision of Rome. Occupying 4 thousand square feet of property in the most emblematic luxury shopping corner in the world, Peter Marino reminds us of Bulgari’s magnificent Roman roots while portraying the balance between old and new, tradition, innovation and eclecticism. The concept of Marino comes to life through daring combinations of precious materials, such as fine marbles, silks and luxurious velvets, as well as in decoration and furniture, which has a careful selection of products inspired by Carlo Scarpa, sales boards that tell Franco Albini and Ico Parisi, and a sofa referring to Osvaldo Borsani.
Attendees: The ambassadors of Bulgari, Lily Aldridge, Bella Hadid, Jasmine Sanders, Jon Kortajarena, Laura Harrier, joined Ciara, Demi Lovato, Lil Buck, Ruby Rose, Sofia Richie, Ellie Goulding, Misty Copeland and Josephine Skiver dressed in BVLGARI . Among the guests were also the CEO of BVLGARI Jean-Christophe Babin, the president of BVLGARI North America, Daniel Paltridge, Alessandra Balazs, Arielle Charnas, Arden Wohl, Aurora James, Bryan Gray-Yambao, Camila Coelho, Constance Jablonski, Danielle Bernstein, Derek Blasberg, Dr. Jill Biden, Elizabeth Sulcer, Inez and Vonoodh, Leigh Lezark and Geordon Nicol, Margaret Zhang, Mario Testino, Nicholas Kirkwood, Peter Marino, Tina Craig and Waris Ahluwalia.
