Ocean Blue World is seeking an Executive Marketing and Communications Assistant to join the team.

Job summary:

The candidate should be well-organized with strong research skills and an eye for detail. Tasks will include providing administrative support to our Marketing and Communications Director consistently ensuring efficiency and accurate record-keeping.

**Candidates must be fluent in English – written and verbal.

 Responsibilities:

  • Prepare reports, letters and other paperwork
  • Organize insertion order files
  • Revise client contracts and agreements
  • Create and monitor client media schedules
  • Conduct research to collect useful media data
  • Liaise with team members always ensuring deadlines are met
  • Suggest possible sources and improvements for projects
  • Select supporting material such as images and illustrations
  • Stay up with the latest events, developments and trends and provide original ideas
  • Report to Director of Communications

Ocean Blue World is seeking a Digital Content Strategist/ Creator to join the team.

Job summary:

The candidate is a team-spirited, skilled and imaginative writer with an eye for detail. Demonstrates creativity writing clear and concise material in a variety of categories to be published on the luxury platform website, social media, and so on. Delivers good quality content such as news posts, reviews and special feature articles.

**Candidates must be fluent in English – written and verbal.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage digital editorial calendar to ensure timely publication for Ocean Blue World platform
  • Identify content inconsistency
  • Provide recommendations for new digital/social media platform topics
  • Identify readers needs
  • Conduct high-quality research in the luxury industry
  • Receive assignments or investigate news leads/tips
  • Contact, interview, and research sources
  • Stay up-to-date with local, national, and international affairs
  • Prepare well-structured drafts using digital publishing platforms
  • Write and deliver news stories with the reader’s perspective in mind
  • Ensure all project information is accurate
  • Edit and proofread written pieces before publication
  • Clear, attractive and compelling copy with a distinct voice for various mediums (e.g. ads, blog posts, newsletters)
  • Source images and other content
  • Generate content ideas for Ocean Blue Magazine
  • Use SEO guidelines to optimize content
  • Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement (e.g. comments and shares)
  • Measure web traffic to content (e.g. conversion and bounce rates)
  • Comply with media law and ethical guidelines
  • Abide by the professional journalism code of ethics
  • Working with Communications Department to build marketing projects and campaigns
  • Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)
  • Report to Director of Communications
