The Inspirational Shawn Mendes

Shawn Mendes was born in 1998 in Toronto, Canada. From Portuguese and English parents, his good looks and mix of Ed Sheeran meets Justin Bieber’s musical style, garnered him a large fan base at a very young age.  At 15, he was signed by Island Records. His debut studio album Handwritten delivered three hit singles: “Life of the Party”, “Something Big, and “Stitches.” “Life of the Party” entered the Billboard 100 singles chart at number 24, making Mendes the youngest artist to land a debut single in the Top 25.
