Gucci’s Stunning New Décor Collection

Bring Haute Couture Home with Gucci’s New Décor Collection

With Gucci’s new décor collection, lovers of the brand can now give their home an all-Gucci makeover.

Gucci Décor

Designed by Gucci’s Creative Director, Alessandro Michele, the new collection includes decorative pieces and even furniture in the colorful patterns and motifs of the House.

The décor collection includes scented candles in Gucci-branded porcelain jars and velvet cushions with Gucci’s iconic tiger motif. The scented candles are available in four Signature scents, titled Inventum, Fumus, Herbosum, and Esotericum. Also included in their Home Scents are incense and incense burners.

Whimsical tableware and mugs crafted in Richard Ginori porcelain bring distinctive personality to the table.

Furniture items include a made to order Chiavari chair with an intricate upholstered cushion. “The intricate motifs are embroidered and then hand-applied, a process that takes approximately 10 hours to complete.”

For those looking to really “Gucci-fy” their home, the collection even includes silk, vinyl, and paper wallpapers in unconventional patterns from the Fall-Winter 2015 collection. The Pearl Eyes wallpaper offers a surrealist, eye-like design surrounded by pearls and bees.

The most expensive pieces from the collection are the vintage-inspired three panel screens, which are crafted from wood and velvet. These double-sided screens are designed to serve as accent pieces or room dividers.

Specially-commissioned illustrations by artist Alex Merry depict the vision of Alessandor Michele’s expansion into interior design.

The rich colors and maximalist motifs are sure to be eye-catching conversation pieces throughout the home.

Widely loved on Instagram, the stand-out collection was considered one of the top home décor trends by Architectural Digest.

Gucci joins other luxury brands including Ralph Lauren, Fendi and Armani, which have also expanded into home décor and furnishings.

The World of Gucci

In addition to its foray into home décor, Gucci has invested heavily into its experiential offerings.

In the art world, Gucci found success in a collaboration with artist Trevor Andrew, called Gucci Ghost. Ocean Blue World celebrated the Gucci Ghost collection at Gucci’s Masaryk store in Mexico City.

Recently, the House has opened Gucci Garden in Florence, which is an exploration of the brand’s imagination, creativity and ‘Guccification.’ Envisioned by Alessandro Michele, the museum-like space includes a store with one-of-a-kind items, as well a restaurant, Gucci Osteria, by three-Michelin-star chef, Massimo Bottura.
