Gal Gadot, “Wonder Woman,” Accepted the #SeeHer Award with A Memorable, Stirring Speech

“Wonder Woman” Gal Gadot accepted the #SeeHer award at the Critics Choice Awards with a spot-on, stirring speech.

Recognizing women who push the boundaries and break stereotypes on screen, the powerful and inspiring Gal Gadot was a clear choice for the #SeeHer award. Her passionate commitment can be seen through her empowering portrayal of “Wonder Woman” in the superhero film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, directed by Patty Jenkins.

“When I started acting, there were very few female-led movies, and even fewer female directors,” Gadot said. “This year, three of the top-grossing films were female-led, and one of them was directed by my wonderful Patty Jenkins.”

Officially the highest-grossing superhero origin movie in history, it is certain that Gal Gadot’s successful talent has added to the movement of diversity and empowerment, in Hollywood and beyond.
